The director general of Local Government, Javier Iniesta, and the mayor of Santomera, José María Sánchez Artés, today introduced two new vehicles for the local police of the municipality and financed by the Ministry of the Presidency and government with 30,665 euros.
These cars, designed to improve the technical resources of the Local Police Force Santomera complement the activities funded by the Community during the past year on security for the municipality, which were achieved through the purchase of three motorcycles, weapons and start up a small dial-up service for the emergency number 092, the local police, with a total investment of 25,688 euros.
Santomera City Council also has ten agents integrated into the Public Safety Unit and incorporated into a template that currently reaches 26 policemen.
Javier Iniesta, who also visited the new facilities of the local police headquarters on his visit to the town, recalled that all these actions are part of the Citizen Security Plan of the Autonomous Community, "which is a major effort to equip and train local police in the region with the aim of providing quality service to citizens. "
