From classic Greek tragedy, through the hilarious comedy to reviews of works of William Shakespeare or Arthur Miller, make up the diverse range of proposals from 30 companies in Madrid, Alicante, Andalusia, Galicia, Cuba and the region itself of Murcia have applied to the International Amateur Theatre Competition-cita.-organized by the Department of Youth Santomera.
On Monday 30 March, the councilman of Youth, Victor Manuel Martinez, publish the names of eight companies selected to serve on the festival poster, six in the official and two reservations as to avoid any last-minute setback.
For the second consecutive year the International Amateur Theatre Competition-appointment .- will be held somewhere between Hall and the Theatre of Sisco, handing out 7,500 euros in prize money plus an additional $ 1,000 for each company by way of movement and assembly work, with the added goal of fighting to win a place in the international arena thanks to the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
