The director of the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia, Veronica Lopez, accompanied by the councilman of Youth council of Santomera, Víctor Manuel Martínez, this morning the twenty-eighth edition of the Regional Festival of Song Scout, to be held March 28 from 16:00 at the Municipal Auditorium Santomera.
He also attended the presentation by the chairman of ASDE-Explorers of Murcia, José Antonio Nieto.
This event will bring together more than 2,000 young people between 6 and 18 years in various scouting groups in the region, who will perform their songs, original and unpublished.
The winning team will participate in a national gathering of scouts that next year will take place in La Rioja.
Lee highlighted the efforts of the Institute for Youth to support all initiatives that encourage and promote youth participation.
The Regional Festival of Song Scout aims to motivate participants to teamwork, healthy competition and effort.
Besides the competition, have organized various activities for leisure to be developed in various squares and gardens Santomera to publicize the work and activities that develop the scouting groups in the Region of Murcia.
