Some 150 students of IES Julián Andugar Poet, accompanied by several teachers and the Councillor for Sports, Luis Quiñonero, put on their shoes to give everything during the celebration of the "Race Solidarity II ', organized by the secondary school in collaboration with the Department and the NGO Save the Children, with the aim of raising funds for children in Nigeria.
Each of the runners was sponsored by friends, relatives, teachers or even the Guardian Agent, responsible for addressing the total cost of the laps completed by the rider during the race lap-euro -1, the second edition of this particular test where raw athletic sportsmanship and solidarity, ended with the collection of around 2000 euros which will go entirely to the country.
"This year we had the support of more than 300 sponsors, giving examples of the impact that this race is beginning to have not only the educational community, including among Santomera neighbors, wanted to underline the Councillor for Sports, Luis Quiñonero, adding "my most sincere congratulations to all participants who have demonstrated their good form during the race."
