Santomera celebrate the 50 anniversary of Manos Unidas with documentaries, an exhibition and theater, among other activities (06/02/2009)

The reading of a manifesto, a documentary and the testimony of a Xaverian missionary, will open at 20 am tomorrow at Casa Grande the broad agenda of activities planned by the delegation of United Hands Santomera and the departments of Education and Gender Equality , to commemorate this weekend the 50 th anniversary of the NGO.

Then at 21 hours there will be the opening of the exhibition 'Cultural Beats Manos Unidas and hunger ", consisting of a collection of paintings donated by Throbbing Cultural Association, with which they intend to raise 13,000 euros for the program of prevention and geriatric care of the female population of Madhya Prades-India.

Finally at 21.30 hours will be held the 'Dinner of Hunger' with bread and oil.

After the liturgy on Sunday the Municipal Hall live from 19.30, the closing of the anniversary of United Hands shall be borne by the Theatre Group of Friends and the work of Carlos Calderón Arniches, earmarking all proceeds from ticket office the NGO.
