About 180 students of schools Our Lady of the Rosary and Mother Gaya Esperanza, have packed the Municipal Auditorium Santomera to claim the traditions of Christmas, during the celebration of the first Christmas Carols School Contest, organized by the Department of Education and Culture.
The rondalla santomerana was responsible for inaugurating the contest carol singing his best, then the students of each school dressed in costumes from pastors and Santa Claus hats, have interpreted their respective repertoires, for an audience given to the spontaneity of these "young tenors."
The draw for games, books and mp4 among all the participants, I marked the close of Christmas Carols School Fair, being winners in the first and second primary school, Our Lady of Rosario and Ramon Gaya, respectively; that have been presented with a complete set of books for their libraries.
Councillor for Education and Culture, Civic Maribel, stressed after the awards ceremony and a certificate to all participants, "this event aims to encourage the smallest of the true spirit of Christmas, from singing carols with the family to riding the crib. "
