Emilio Saizar streets, and City Commission for the Family Muñoz Sánchez, have been designated by the Department of Sustainable Development, led by Victor Manuel Martinez, to install three new underground containers in Santomera, thanks to a grant of 60,000 euros from the region.

These new containers equipped with a section for organic matter and one for storage of lightweight containers such as plastic bottles, cans and spirals, will allow the municipality santomerano end of the year, with eight underground containers available to all residents.

Victor Manuel Martinez, a councilman for Sustainable Development, said that "Santomera is a conscious and sustainable city, so from the council we are obliged to provide the santomeranos; the means to contribute to the care and respect for our environment" .
