A total of 140 students in third and fourth primary education Santomera, La Matanza and Sisco, were the real stars of the first edition of the "Days Multisport" organized by the Department of Sports, to promote physical activity sport outside school hours.
The Sports Pavilion has hosted the local phase of this conference framed within the School Sports Programme, with the participation of schools Ramón Gaya, Ricardo Campillo, Our Lady of the Rosary, Mother of Hope and Campoazahar, represented by fourteen mixed teams, encouraged all time for a grandstand full of teachers and family.
The meetings have been developed marked by a particular regulation, the ten members of each team had to skip to mandatory in every game, divided into two twenty minute parts, the first devoted to indoor football and handball second , testing the skills of young players.
Ricardo Campillo finally became champion, while Ramón Gaya won the runner-up of these "Days Multisport, closed with a diploma, all participating schools pending inter-phase, they will face during next year to schools in the Altiplano and Eastern Region.
"In those days it has encouraged the participation of students using sports as football hook-room, to encourage the practice of others unknown to scholars, such as handball," remarked the Councillor for Sports, Luis Quiñonero after the city closed this phase.
