The autonomous region currently has thirteen remote terminals located in different municipalities
The Minister of Presidency and Public Administration, María Pedro Reverte, visited today, accompanied by the mayor of Santomera, José María Sánchez, the new premises of the local police of the municipality, which is located remote Terminal Command and Control ( TMC) of 1-1-2 Region of Murcia, which will improve communication between emergency services.
Reverte explained that the TMC Santomera stood so far in the premises of the Association of Civil Defence Volunteers and, thanks to improvement works on the premises of the local police, has adequate space to accommodate the TMC and operators, "with what we earn ease of communication between municipal emergency services more important, such as the Local Police and Civil Protection."
Remote Terminal Command and Control (TMC) is a 1-1-2 workstation located outside the central facilities of the Regional Emergency Centre, in this case Santomera, but integrated through a data line, with the emergency coordination system.
Thus, the TMC operators can see, instantly, incidents that are coming to 1-1-2 in its district and send their own resources to meet these emergencies, always in coordination with the Centre.
The 1-1-2 currently has 13 remote terminals located in Archena, Cartagena, Jumilla, Cotillas Towers, Los Alcazares, Lorca, Mazarron Molina de Segura, Murcia, San Javier, San Pedro del Pinatar and Santomera as well as Renfe-Adif (Valencia).
