The fleet of the local police Santomera double its number of troops, thanks to a grant of 50,000 euros to the Autonomous Community santomerano granted to the municipality under local cooperation funds, that allow the acquisition of five new vehicles, two escooters, two patrol cars and a motorcycle.
At the moment the police already have the new BMW motorbike, while the two escooters and two patrol cars will be added over the coming months to add in February a total of ten troops, against the five available so far, three patrol cars, a motorcycle and an SUV for the 27 players making up the workforce.
The mayor santomerano, José María Sánchez, was keen to stress that "the introduction of these vehicles will positively not only on care provided by local police on a daily basis to all our neighbors, also in the various security plans being implemented in Santomera today. "
The grant covers the cost of 092
This grant awarded by the Autonomous Region in addition to financing the expansion of the fleet of the local police will also allow the council to pay the 3,000 euros Santomera arising from the commissioning of the 092 in the municipality.
