The municipality of Santomera commitment to sustainability and recycling, on this occasion the departments of Land Management and Sustainable Development have begun work that will be installed in the town, three new underground containers, equipped with a section for organic matter and other for storage of lightweight containers such as plastic bottles, cans and cartons.
This project represents an investment of 60,000 euros that the municipality has obtained through the Ministry of Industry and Environment, co-financed by the Cohesion Fund, allowing the municipality santomerano expand the current number of underground containers, from five to have eight .
Emilio Saizar streets, and City Commission for the Family Muñoz Sanchez, who presented the best characteristics, have been designated by the departments of Land Management and Sustainable Development, to house the work of installing these new containers.
The Councillor for Sustainable Development, Víctor Manuel Martínez, said that "Santomera is a conscious and sustainable city, so this council is providing to its neighbors every possible means, to contribute to the care and respect for the environment."
