The Department of Youth, directed by Victor Manuel Martinez, has organized a Workshop on Affective Education - Sexual occasion of World Day to Combat AIDS, to inform students of the IES Julián Andugar Poet on methods of HIV prevention HIV.

This workshop involving 120 students of third IES Secondary Education, provides a theoretical phase consisting of the realization of talks given by a member of Anti-AIDS Committee of the Region of Murcia, "it is crucial to talk about sex with adolescents, prevent both AIDS as any other type of venereal disease, "stressed the mayor, Victor Manuel Martinez.

The second phase will take place very practical during the month of January, with the aim of showing the students enrolled in the workshop, the range of contraceptive methods at their disposal and how to use them, opening a special unit focusing on eliminating stereotypes and poorly assimilated concepts about HIV.
