The second edition of the Seminar "Create your Garden at Home, Get started in the urban ecological agriculture", organized by the Sustainable Health in collaboration with the Department of Education and Culture, to show sustainable farming techniques, will face this weekend, his two last days.

This Saturday Siscar Theatre held from 10 hours to 18 hours, an intense day of presentations where the 45 enrolled in the seminar will learn the keys to sustainable consumption and environmental impact of agriculture on climate change, among other items , besides watching a documentary on the effects of agrochemicals on our health, followed by a tasting of organic products.

Sunday's practice will be mainly two visits to farm organically grown, first to the abanillera Finca Las Bates and then Coto Salinas Natural Park, located in Yecla, where all participants, meet foot field characteristics of the orchards green, deepening the extensive and intensive cultivation.

Councillor for Education and Culture, Civic Maribel, was keen to stress that "these initiatives are useful in Santomera, a nature-friendly town with its great tradition orchard."
