The Minister of Tourism and Consumer Affairs, Jose Pablo Ruiz Abellán, today unveiled the poster and the program of the Moors and Christians Santomera, and used the occasion to encourage the organizers to get the Declaration of National Tourist Interest .

In his speech, Ruiz Abellán recalled that "we have a festive edition in which Santomera wears long, because this year celebrates its thirtieth anniversary as a municipality.

The Moors and Christians, considered Regional Tourist Interest since 1990, is one of the festive events of its kind in the region's oldest, after Caravaca de la Cruz and Abanilla.
The head of Tourism congratulated the organizers who have come true once again the largest quoted Santomera.
