Santomera is the first municipality in the Region of Murcia in joining the initiative BStartup
The municipality of Santomera and SabadellCAM have signed a cooperation agreement on Friday November 8.
This initiative is part of the strategy of social bonding and social support, corporate and institutional bank is undertaking, and has as main purpose the promotion of entrepreneurial initiatives arising in the municipality of Murcia.
Santomera Mayor Jose Maria Sanchez and SabadellCAM area director, Jesus Cifuentes, have ratified it commitment in a ceremony which was also attended by Councillor for Employment, Industry, Trade and Sustainable Development, Victor Martinez and director SabadellCAM bank bus, Jose Flores.
The Banco Sabadell offer financial products on favorable terms to those who make use of the services of the Local Development Agency while the Department of Employment of the City of Santomera facilitate access to this network of business support projects resulting entity financial.
This has been explained on Friday November 8 Mayor, José María Sánchez after signing the partnership agreement.
Its purpose, in the words of the mayor, is "to respond to the common complaint among businessmen and entrepreneurs since the crisis began, the lack of funding."
The agreement will benefit the startups that need financing to start and those who invest in them as the 'Business Angels' (investors who contribute capital to startup normally return a share ownership) and private equity.
"The space of Banco Sabadell to be installed in the CEDES (Center for Employment and Local Development) will help the contact between the entity and Santomera entrepreneurs is fluid.
Furthermore, all the bank's experience in internationalization and launching new businesses will be available to those who have a good business idea, "he explained José María Sánchez.
Sanchez emphasized the interest of the City Council that "business is more likely to internationalize innovative" and that "they believe future businesses while helping more people are willing to undertake".
Funding is not the only line of support to entrepreneurs who have opened Santomera City Council.
It has also created a wide network of specialized support services for which they have been to date more than 300 entrepreneurs and SMEs, of which 200 did over the past year
