The Guardia Civil of the Region of Murcia has developed an investigation in order to clarify the subtraction of large numbers of hives on a farm Santomera, which has led to the arrest of the person who had reported being a victim of robbery, as alleged perpetrator of a crime against the administration of justice (crime simulation), after finding that he had filed the complaint was false.
Policemen specialized in safety prevention initiated the investigation following a complaint from a beekeeper claiming to have been the victim of the theft of 148 hives, valued at 5,900 euros, an estate of Santomera
The Meritorious developed a comprehensive technical inspection eye on the farm where he had committed the alleged robbery, designed to gather as many clues as possible to clarify the crime, identify the alleged perpetrator and recover allegedly misappropriated effects.
The result of the investigations carried out, the officers checked the hives reported as stolen had been moved prior to the filing of the complaint to another rural area of ​​the province of Soria, where they were in production.
Therefore, we proceeded to the arrest of the complainant, becoming arrested on suspicion of a felony crime simulation.
According to the investigations carried out, the purpose of the arrest was to obtain compensation from your insurance company.

- Spanish, 57 years and resident of Alicante.
