Tomorrow is the fourth edition of the Festival DEC (Diversity in Short) with a sample of short films made by people with disabilities.
It will be in the Municipal Auditorium Santomera from 18.30 in an event designed for the entire family with free admission.
Productions to be exhibited include the participation of entities from the scope of disability as SOI Cartagena, Alicante APCA among others, besides the organizers Egaleco and PEEM.
With this event open to the public will conclude a new edition of the initiative that consolidates every year in the field of disability, media, teaching and social education.
The DEC Festival allows the involvement of all these agents to cover training aspects, practical and informative "with the aim of promoting the use to recognize and encourage the use of audiovisual resources alongside people with disabilities."
PEEM Family Association, part of Murcia FEAPS, collaborates Egaleco initiative to expand its educational, cultural and leisure activities for people with intellectual disabilities.
Intellectually disabled Murcianos approach the media to star in and make his own short films that will be screened as tomorrow.
This fourth edition of the Festival DEC has had more participants and has managed to maintain and expand the activities despite the economic difficulties.
The festival has included a weekend of coexistence between people with and without intellectual disabilities who made a short film, produced by third entities driving the festival.
There were also photo exhibitions and visits to the School of Drama.
PEEM up, along with 26 other non-profit entities, the Federation of Societies for Persons with Intellectual Disability and Cerebral Palsy (FEAPS Murcia) which this year celebrates its 30th anniversary.
All these organizations share the mission of improving the quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities or cerebral palsy and their families,
