Today was held the first Local Security Board this year 2012, whose main novelty has been marked by its new composition, in addition to standard components, the mayor who acts as chairman of the same, the secretary general of the Government Office , the post commander of the Guardia Civil on behalf of the State Administration and Local Police Chief Santomera as member of the Local Government, as new members include two members of the Local Government which went to two councilors Santomera City Council and a new member representing the Ministry of the Presidency.

It also has been used to determine the frequency of these meetings, convened the second Wednesday of even months and has created a Commission to be responsible for monitoring of disciplinary proceedings for breach of Organic Law 1/92 on protection public safety whose proposed resolution rests with the Local Security Board.

So the mayor, José María Sánchez, said that "this is a way of further strengthening the collaboration between the Forces of State Security and State administrations, regional and local."
