Santomera City Council has signed a collaboration agreement with Ecopilas Foundation in conjunction with the implementation of separate collection of waste batteries and accumulators.

So far 21 have been set up collection points distributed throughout the municipality, within which are the schools, community centers, school and some shops.

So, the Councillor for Sustainable Development, Victor Martinez, said that these 21 points will be expanded according to demand and that the goal of initiatives like this is simply to encourage recycling among citizens.
