The Spanish Association of Transplanted in collaboration with Murcia Alcer Federation, held a gala in Santomera to shut down activities to mark World Kidney Day
In this event, which took place on Sunday July 3 at the Municipal Auditorium and attended by some 200 people, presented the diplomas cycle prevention training organized by the Spanish Transplant Association in collaboration with the City Santomera and culminating in the National Day of the donor.
Distinguished in this Gala for their solidarity with ALCER, thanks to the sponsorship of the Spanish Association of transplant was Javier Azagra, Bishop Emeritus for his work for over 30 years for Murcia Alcer Federation and its fight against kidney disease, D.
Santiago Sanchez, Director of International Relations at El Corte Ingles and Dr. Cabezuelo Nephrologist Hospital Reina Sofia, who were treated to works by artist Elisa Rubio Ortuño.
During the gala, the poet Victor Miguelez intervened with a poetry reading.
For his part, responsible for awarding these awards were Mayor Santomera, José María Sánchez, who presented the award to Bishop Azagra, the president of the Spanish Association of Transplant, Juan Pedro Baños and the president of the Murcia Regional Alcer Federation, Jorge Moreno Llacer.
The show closed with a performance by the choir "Alma Llanera".
