Santomerano City Council, through the Department of Education and Culture, made the twentieth Drawing Contest 'Moors and Christians Santomera 2011', in which all children living in the city and its region have been involved.
The theme: Draw any reason Moors and Christians and therefore initially held in a shortlist of candidates drawing the three categories in each of the different schools.
Thus, the jury is screening consisted of teachers of the school concerned.
In the second phase, the contest organizers candidates collected drawings of the three categories of individual schools.
The final jury was composed of one representative from each school, the council of Education and Culture, Maria Isabel Civic and the president of the Central Associations of Moors and Christians Santomera.
The decision of the contest was held in Casa Grande on June 11 and the awards were delivered on day 12.
The winning entries will be included in the Journal of Moors and Christians 2012.
Thus, in accordance with age, we established three categories.
Therefore, the first round winners were Patricia Navarro Valverde (1 °), Sandra Soto Marin (2 °) and Paula González López (3 °).
Third Cycle, the winners have been José David González Arias (1 °), Nathaly Carabajo Melissa Heredia (2 °) and Cano Antonio Noguera (3 °).
