United Left-Greens will go to the next local elections together with the Movement for Santomera (MOS) in an alternative platform that advocates "honesty, transparency and citizen participation as a way of understanding politics."
This has been expressed over the weekend members of the platform, among which is the local coordinator of IU-Greens, José Luis Egio, during the presentation of the principal axes that make up the electoral program.
Among these objectives is the creation of a technical advisory body to assist farmers in converting production to new environmental standards and food quality and the implementation of average Agroecological Production Training.
On employment, the platform proposes the promotion of projects related to housing rehabilitation, the establishment of a cooperative of elderly and dependent care, and support the business association through a cooperative responsible for home delivery local products.
Also proposes the strengthening the fight against school failure, involvement of immigrant communities in making decisions related to the coexistence of cultures, and reducing the number of councilors released, and the establishment of their monthly salary of 1,200 euros .
The platform calls for the online publication of invoices issued by the municipality and the regulation of political participation, to enable citizens to hold referendums and popular initiatives.
