Prizes + IGUAL'11 highlighted by the contribution in the struggle of individuals or organizations working for equal opportunities

Over 400 women gathered yesterday at the dinner to commemorate the International Day of Women's Rights.

The appointment was in the Casona de la Vega and she did Awards + IGUAL'11, for those persons or entities known for their contribution in the fight for equal opportunities between women and men.

The event, which was presented for the fourth consecutive year by journalist Jorge Garcia Badia, was attended by the Director General of Social Affairs and Immigration Equality, Leopoldo Navarro, and was entertained by musical performances by a comedian and the ballet Alicia Navarro.

The awards this year were three: Fina Vigueras Herrera won the 'Award for Women Entrepreneur of the Year 2011'.

In second place was awarded the 'Woman of the Year Award 2011' to Luisa Ruiz Asencio.

Finally, we presented the 'Award for equal work in 2011' to the Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users Santomera Virgen del Rosario.

In addition, the Department of Women, Social Services, Seniors, Volunteer Immigration and also wanted to give the company two plates STV Management, and Restaurant Cason de la Vega for their good service to the municipality and their collaboration in the Women's Dinner 2011.

PSOE Response
