Santomera City Council, through the Department of Women, Social Services and Equal Opportunities, is preparing events to commemorate the International Day for the Rights of Women, held today 8 March.
To do this, and under the slogan 'Let us not fight for our rights in crisis.
Today is just another day in the struggle ', has scheduled a series of activities.
The celebrations begin tonight at 17:30, with Cine-Forum for the rights of women in the City Hall.
Thus, on Friday March 11th at 21:00 pm and held a dinner for women in the restaurant Cason de la Vega.
This event will present the Awards + IGUAL'11.
Women who want to attend this meeting should be compulsorily registered in the Municipal Center for Women.
The cost of the dinner, which the company works and Restaurant Management STV Cason de la Vega, is 20 euros for women registered in Santomera and 35 euros for non-registered.

Councilwoman Maria Dolores Abellán noted that the City Council is developing its policy Santomera development taking into account the defense and promotion of equal opportunities between men and women, no sex discrimination and the promotion of human development from equity gender with the aim of overcoming gender roles, breaking through the stereotypes that keep situations of discrimination and to eliminate any possibility of violence against women.
Awards + IGUAL'11
