Work on the new Sports Centre Santomera Education, a building for indoor practice of any sport have come to an end and open to the public on Wednesday.

Thus, the Councillor for Sports, Luis Quiñonero emphasizes that this new unit, for which EUR 681,968 was allocated to the Plan E (605,968 for the building and 76,000 euros for the football field) will be able to perform all sports and the building up of sports court, customer service area, janitorial and first aid kit, referees and players changing rooms, public toilets and various additional units.

All this involves a construction area of 1606.30 meters square and the aim is that the building appears by day as a solid block closed at night is illuminated around its perimeter.

The field covers an area of over 2,000 square meters.
