Santomera City Council has today with new municipal offices of 700 square meters in a building next to the Town Hall, which will house various administrative and customer service.
The Minister of Presidency and Public Administration, María Pedro Reverte, and the mayor of Santomera, José María Sánchez, opened new offices in the acquisition and adaptation has been invested 1,230,000 euros, of which one million have been provided by the region.
In the new offices will be located municipal services Planning, Intervention, Treasury, Accounting and Contracting, until now distributed between the actual town hall and rented by the City.
Reverte and Sanchez explained that "population growth experienced in the municipality of Santomera has caused increased pressure on municipal services, which has generated the need for enlarging the administrative and customer service."
"The goal that always strive for this type of action is that citizens have about public services accessible, modern, quality and competitive, and with these new units the santomeranos have decent facilities and spacious," said Reves, who highlighted the fact that the inauguration takes place the same day that the City marks the 32 anniversary of the establishment of an independent municipality Santomera.
Distribution services
New municipal offices are distributed on the ground floor and first floor of a new building, situated at Los Angeles, behind the Town Hall, and have exclusive access from the outside to gain independence the rest of the building and improve accessibility.
The ground floor has been installed on Urban area, while the other services, intervention, Treasury, Accounting and Contracting offices are spread over the first floor.
