The Minister of Health, María Ángeles Palacios, along with the mayor of Santomera, José María Sánchez, today inaugurated the new office Matanzas Primary Care is designed to serve a population of 2,500 people.
In building the center has invested over 287,000 euros, of which 220,000 have been provided by the Ministry of Health.
As the minister said, "today the delivery of health care to the population of the village of Matanzas was made in the Santomera Health Center, however, given the population growth of this county we believe in building a new office that meets the basic needs of Primary Matanzas citizens. "
The new office is situated at Ermita de Matanzas and has an area of 240 square meters, distributed in a plant where it is located a family practice setting, a nurse and a versatile query.
In addition, it has three waiting rooms, as well as administrative and personnel area and data network available for the entire building, which enables the use of computerized medical record.
In the center will assist Monday through Friday from 11:30 to 15:00 hours.
The population of Matanzas is part of the Basic Health Zone Santomera 25, belonging to Area Health 7 Murcia-East.
