Santomera City Council has this week with six new workers, four workers and two officers, who for eight months will be responsible for executing a project to adapt and improve the maintenance and conservation of public green areas.
Its contracting has been possible thanks to a grant of 97,087.68 euros granted by the Employment and Training Service (SEF), through its Local Public Employment Program.
With this money, their salaries and contributions to the Social Security will be fully covered, while the City Council, for its part, will bear the expenses derived from materials, clothing and personal protective equipment that they require until next November 19, when it will end. contract.
The SEF itself has been the agency in charge of selecting the six people hired, all long-term stops, taking into account the time of accumulated unemployment and their income and family responsibilities.
The new gardeners, two women and four men, who joined the municipal staff last Tuesday, passed yesterday by the City Council to formalize their contracts and receive the welcome given by the mayor and the councilors of Personnel, Employment and Works and Services.
