Santomera commemorates tomorrow the 39th anniversary of its segregation of the City of Murcia, certified the 29 of September of 1978. The day, festive and nonworkable in the whole municipality, will be carried out by two acts with much solera:
The traditional cycle route, which every year brings together about one thousand people of all ages to travel part of the municipality (departure at 10:30 hours from the Town Hall Square).
The subsequent popular lunch in the Town Hall Square (from 13 hours), during which 7,000 snacks will be distributed, eight hundred soft drinks and up to a thousand liters of beer.
Apart from these two activities always present during the Day of the Town Hall, the program of the patron saint festivities in honor of the Virgin of the Rosary also contemplates for tomorrow a period between the rocks of the Zone Güertana (19 hours), the dance festival (21:30 pm, Municipal Auditorium), the performance of Zequi Band in the Town Hall Square (23 hours) and the San Festival, which will gather in the Güertana Zone to Rusher, Holy Beat, Space Elephants and Chumi DJ (from 11 pm).
