The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed, under the 'Plan against subtractions in agricultural and livestock farms', the operation 'DEUDOR', an investigation that has been settled with a person arrested as alleged perpetrator of crime of fraud by Value of 34,000 euros.
The investigation began when a Zaragoza company, dedicated to the international export of fruit, filed a complaint with the Civil Guard for an alleged fraud committed by another company based in Santomera.
The injured company allegedly contracted the export of 50 tonnes of citrus fruit with a Jordanian customer, for which it had had an intermediary in Santomera, who would be responsible for obtaining the merchandise, packing it in containers and shipping it by sea to its destination.
To this end, prior agreement, agreed to pay 71,000 euros, in two installments, the first being a payment of 34,000 euros.
Once the commercial link was established, Jordanian customers alerted that the containers had not arrived on the agreed date, so they asked the exporting company for the situation or the location of the products.
This demand caused representatives of the Zaragoza company to move to the town of Santomera, to meet with the owner of the mercantile with the aim of clarifying these alleged irregularities.

The Civil Guard inquired until obtaining the necessary information, as well as the commercial documentation on the economic transaction, which evidenced the existence of an alleged fraud in the investigated commercial activity.
In light of these indications, the Benemérita has detained a male, Spanish, 39, and neighbor of Sangonera la Seca-Murcia as alleged perpetrator of fraud.
The arrested and the investigations have been made available to the Court of Instruction of Murcia.
The investigation remains open to verify the possible relationship of the now detained with other similar criminal practices, related to the fraudulent purchase and sale of agricultural products.
