In one of the most important items on the agenda, the municipal plenum approved last night to propose to the Governing Chamber of the High Court of Justice the re-election of Mariano Sanz Navarro as the head judge of Santomera.

Five applications were submitted by Ramón López Gil, María del Rosario Peñalver Sánchez, Irina Vodopolova Radyuk, Isidro Hortelano Martínez and Mariano Sanz Navarro.

All the votes of the members of the Corporation concentrated on these last two candidates: Hortelano obtained eight backups, while Sanz, current Justice of the Peace, obtained one more, reason why will be proposed to occupy the position during another four years.
