After a meeting in which representatives of the Santomera City Council, the Government Delegation, the Local Police, the Civil Guard and the CAVI of the Eastern Region were present, the Police Coordination Bureau was established yesterday, a technical commission Which will work to improve the treatment of cases of gender violence in our municipality.
This new body, a pioneer in the Region, will serve as a channel for the different parties involved, and especially the security forces, to exchange useful information to combat sexist aggressions.
Then, in Casa Grande, a new meeting of the Local Table against Gender Violence took place, during which the evaluation of the 2010-13 Equality Plan was presented and the diagnosis of the current situation commissioned by the current team of Government.
This assessment served as a preliminary step to the development of the future Feminist Plan for Equal Opportunities to be developed between 2017 and 2019.
