The Minister of Development and Infrastructure, Pedro Rivera, met today with the mayor of Santomera, Inmaculada Sánchez, to address the situation of regional roads that cross the municipality and agreed that the Community Conservation technicians will assess the possibility of undertaking Improvement actions on tracks RM-303, linking Santomera with Alquerías, and RM-404, linking the municipality with Abanilla.
Also, the councilor Pedro Rivera informed the mayor of the extension of the Housing Plan and the aid lines that will be convened within the framework of this plan for next year, among which are those of the Regeneration Area program and Urban Renewal (ARRU) in municipalities, which allow to carry out rehabilitation and construction works in specific areas of the municipality, delimited by the municipalities. The responsible for Fomento encouraged the mayor to submit their ARRU application to the Housing Plan of 2017 so that The citizens of Santomera have the opportunity to obtain aid that allows them to make improvement actions in their homes and in public spaces of the municipality.
