The Department of Works and Services has undertaken two projects to improve the water supply network in the neighborhood of Trinquete.
Specifically, the works focus on the five oldest routes in the area: Mariano Artés, Trinquete, Cuatro Esquinas, Casino and Nueva streets.
Through two different projects awarded to companies Trisacor and Aguas de Santomera with budgets of € 40,135 and € 20,081, respectively, the City Council will replace the old fiber cement pipes and lead pipes with others made of polyethylene for food use.
According to the deadline set by the City Council, the works, which began last Monday, must be completed before the end of the year.
These two projects are joined last week by Aguas de Santomera, a company that, for an amount close to 5,000 euros, expanded the drinking water supply network in Juan Carlos I Avenue by approximately thirty meters.
