The action is located between kilometers 8 and 13 of the highway, and in the municipal areas of Fortuna and Abanilla.
The general director of Roads, Jos Antonio Fern ndez Llad , reported that the Ministry of Development and Infrastructure has already put out to tender this work that is framed in the programming of actions to reinforce the road safety after the 2019 dana in the regional road network, valued at more than 14.7 million.
"Of all of them, the Community has already carried out works in 78 routes for a value of 5.6 million euros and work will begin shortly on another six routes for three million euros," said the regional manager.
He indicated that the deadline for submitting offers to this tender ends on January 22.
Fern ndez Llad explained that the action in RM-414, which will have an execution period of two months once the work is awarded, consists of the repair of a section of road that has suffered widespread breakages in several places as a result of the passage of a large amount of water.
"At the points where the road margin has been broken, the deteriorated material will be removed and the material will be replaced with adequate soil," explained the director.
Deteriorated concrete gutters will be demolished, and those that are grounded will be cleaned.
The works will include the renovation of the deteriorated horizontal signage.
