| The maximum amount for aid is 400,000 euros and the total of the subsidies will allow investments that exceed 7 million euros | The Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Environment has allocated 1,583,000 euros for the improvement and modernization of irrigation infrastructures in irrigation communities, within the framework of the Rural Development Program of the Region of Murcia 2014-2020; aids that will allow investments in excess of 7 million euros, as well as the improvement of the competitiveness of irrigation in the Region. The intensity of aid for irrigation modernization is 40 percent of the eligible investment budget, while in renewable energy investments this percentage is 20 percent.
The maximum amount for aid is 400,000 euros. The Azarbe del Merancho Irrigation Community, in Santomera, is one of the beneficiaries, with a grant of 400,000 euros on an eligible budget of the investment of 1,890,614 euros, for the construction of a 100 KW photovoltaic solar plant and the installation of drive equipment, among other aspects. Likewise, the El Porvenir Irrigation Community, in Abanilla, has received an aid of 400,000 euros on an eligible budget of the investment of 2,706,533 euros, for the construction of a floating photovoltaic plant with a power of 510,840 Wp, floating structure, solar panels, frequency inverter, panel and wiring, among other actions. For its part, the La Santa Cruz Irrigation Community, in Abanilla, has an aid of 400,000 euros on an eligible budget of the investment of 1,508,970 euros, to carry out, among other projects, the construction of a pond of regulation of 200,000 cubic meters of capacity, the covering of said basin to reduce water losses due to evaporation, and the modification of the pumping station to enable the delivery of water to the projected basin and improve the energy efficiency of the entire complex. Finally, the Alhama de Murcia Irrigation Community, has a grant of 383,000 euros on an eligible budget of the investment of 1,008,767 euros, for the construction of a photovoltaic solar plant for power generation for self-consumption of 98.82 Kwp , with an annual power generation capacity of 157 MWh, intended for pumping reclaimed water from the Alhama de Murcia treatment plant, among other actions.
