The Ministry of Development and Infrastructure has opened to traffic the road that connects Zeneta with the RM-301, which connects it with the Santomera-San Javier highway, at the end of the repair work on the sinking of the road caused by the strong episodes of rain last September ..
The General Director of Roads, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, visited the road, which is again fully operational, to verify the work done by the Community and which has involved an investment of 160,000 euros.
Fernández Lladó explained that the sinking occurred when the bridge could not evacuate the large amount of water that fell, leaving this one of the banks of the riverbed, which caused the breakage of this section.
He also stressed that the repair works have been carried out urgently, as the cut to traffic has generated significant discomforts to its users and companies in the area, since this route supports traffic of more than 2.2 million vehicle movements per year, of which 370,840 are heavy.
