A first line of 20 Kv called Santomera-Beniel, in a very advanced state of construction, crosses an area of expansion of an eagle, a protected species in danger of extinction, the cave of the Yeseras (LIC), and the urban area of Siscar, near homes and the only school that has the area.
The neighbors have maintained contacts with the DG.
Industry to demand the burial of the line.
The other line is the so-called 132 kV high voltage power line to the Santomera SE 132/20 kV from the San Félix-Rocamora line, it is in the public exposure phase.
Ecological, neighborhood associations and for the conservation of heritage have made allegations to change the route and take advantage of a road corridor for burial.
Ecologists in Action, in addition to presenting allegations, warns that with the global situation of Climate Emergency and the decriminalization of the installation of solar panels both in homes and in industrial buildings for self-consumption and production of electric energy, there will be an increase in the production of energy at destination and will ensure that the expansion of large high-voltage lines is not necessary.
The neighbors for their part will continue the concentrations that have been taking place since June every Saturday at Siscar, as a measure of protest against the installation of these electrical infrastructures.
