The senator of the PP for Murcia, Severa Gonzalez, has demanded today in press conference the "immediate resignation of the socialist mayor, Inmaculada González, for ethics and coherence".
He has also asked the mayor of Urbanismo de Podemos, Joaquín Rubio, to also "leave office".
The reason has said "is the admission to proceedings by the Court of Instruction No. 8 of Murcia of a complaint for an alleged crime of prevarication."
At this point, Gonzalez has sent a message to the secretary general of the socialist Murcia, Diego Conesa, which he said "aspires to govern in the Region of Murcia," to force the resignation of the current socialist mayor "in a gesture of exemplary, if it does not do it by own will ".
"Thus, it would be consistent with his speech and coherence lies in credibility," he said.
"From the Popular Party of the Region of Murcia, we do not enter to assess the merits of the matter, because it is not our competence," said the 'popular' senator to stress that, "it is the responsibility of the judiciary, and it will be Justice who settle the matter. "
In this regard, Severa Gonzalez has made it clear that "it is our obligation and justice to demand socialist Murcia coherence with the red line that require the Popular Party";
and recalled that, "before the sole investigation by a court to any leader of our party, demand the resignation of the public office concerned without waiting if there is or not opening oral trial or file the case."
The resignation, he said, we demand, "not under the PSOE's ethical code, which fixes that moment with the opening of the oral trial, but in coherence with the red line that the Murcian socialists, the mayor herself, his secretary general regional, Diego Conesa and even its national leader have marked, which is no other, that with the investigation by a judge must resign.
Therefore, he insisted on the resignation of both charges for "democratic hygiene".
"This is the immediate consequence of demanding resignations without waiting for the opening of the oral proceedings of the investigated, which is the key to be able to exercise that ethical and moral criterion", González criticized, in view of the position adopted by the PSOE when the PP about.
Therefore, as a conclusion, the PP senator regretted that the Murcia socialists have justified motions of censure, without judicial accusation, "mayors and mayors of the PP in our region, a president of the Government of Spain honest and honest, like Mariano Rajoy ";
reason why it has insisted on the coherence demanding resignation of the socialist mayor in this moment of the investigation "because thus it demands it the PSOE to the Popular Party".
