Four long-term stops will work as municipal planters (06/03/2019)

The staff of the City Council of Santomera will count as of next Monday with four new workers.

These are four women, neighbors of the municipality, which until now were long-term stops and who during the following six months will be responsible for executing a project to adapt and improve the maintenance and conservation of public green areas.

Its contracting has been possible thanks to a grant of 50,000 euros, granted by the Employment and Training Service (SEF) and financed by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security, within the framework of the Local Public Employment Program.

With this money their salaries and contributions to the Social Security will be covered in full, while the City Council, for its part, will bear the expenses derived from the materials, costumes and personal protective equipment that they require until September 10, when it will end. contract.

The SEF itself has been the body in charge of selecting the four women hired in response to accumulated unemployment time and their income and family responsibilities.

The new planters, have passed this morning by the City Council to sign their contracts and receive the welcome given by the mayor, Inma Sánchez Roca, and the councilor of Works and Services, Joaquín Rubio.
