The mayor of Santomera, Inmaculada Sánchez Roca, this morning presented her candidacy for re-election in the upcoming municipal elections in May.
He has done it in the courtyard of the Casa del Huerto, a historic building rehabilitated under his management, and before two hundred neighbors who included his councilors for the past four years, fellow party members, local personalities and representatives of different collectives of the municipality.
Inma Sánchez Roca has related his greatest strengths, putting in value a transformative and honest management that has placed Santomera as one of the most prosperous municipalities in the Region.
"I want to contribute values, commitments and proposals to consolidate the model of municipality that we have successfully initiated," he said, "a model of a municipality that focuses on people and their care in all stages of life, the opportunities they need to realize themselves and the protection of the environment where we relate in community ".
The socialist councilor, who after the previous elections became the first woman to occupy the position and the youngest mayor of the Region, has called for mobilization to achieve the shared goals as a municipality, highlighting the character of Santomera, El Siscar and La Matanza as a "self-made" people.
The act has concluded with an emotional plea of ​​the socialist candidate, which has been claimed as the option that can best represent the feelings of the three population centers that make up the municipality.
