The Municipal Policy Secretary of the PSRM-PSOE, Alfonso Martínez Baños, welcomes the fact that the courts of justice have once again agreed with the mayor of Santomera, Inma Sánchez Roca, with the file of the complaint filed by the company Arimesa.
Martínez Baños demanded that CARM "assume its negligent management in this matter" and give the corresponding explanations to the residents of this municipality.
"Workers have to stop looking at the City Council as responsible for their ills, understand that they must comply with the law and demand responsibility from the company and the regional government."
In the opinion of the socialist leader, it is evident that in this case the law is not being fulfilled and the obligation of the mayor is to make it happen, instead of looking the other way, as the Community is doing.
"The counselor has to assume that he has made a mistake and ask the company to submit the corresponding Environmental Impact Statement so that the City Council can process the corresponding activity file."
Alfonso Martínez said that "this is a clear example of the negligent policy of the regional government, which aims to impose, through the Law of Administrative Simplification, a wild environmental vulnerability."
It refers to an already approved standard, the one of economic acceleration that negotiates with the CROEM, which, as with the Law of the Ark, intends to create a new entity that manages all the activity files with environmental impact.
Finally, he took the opportunity to congratulate the mayor, Inma Sánchez Roca, "for the excellent work she is doing in the City of Santomera".
